The First Look!
This is the first time we’ve looked at the chickens following their first night out of the barn. Instantly, the behaviour of the chickens seems to be changing as they begin to explore their new environment. The strange surroundings means the chickens are distracted, and as a result far less ‘bullying’, especially pecking of other chickens is occurring. The chickens, as expected, are extremely scruffy in appearance. The tail feathers of all the chickens are missing, and the cones of the chickens pale in colour and drooping.
